KB GOODKIN - INTERIM DIRECTOR
KB Goodkin is the Director of Community Engagement and Advancement at the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York and is launching our community’s first Center for Learning and Belonging. She is widely seen as an expert in Jewish engagement methodology, speaking and consulting with many Jewish organizations across the country regularly. Prior to her move to Northeastern NY, KB worked as a Hillel Director and Adult Education Coordinator in Richmond VA, Jewish Family Educator in Detroit, and Early Childhood Educator in Los Angeles. KB spent summers in VA as AD helping to run the Camp Hilbert, working as family camp counselor and Gan coordinator at the Grand Resort family camp in MI, family camp leader for synagogues as part of the JEFF program in MI, counselor/CIT/camper at YMCA camps and camp Shalom/Alonim in Los Angeles CA. On a Global level, KB has spoken at the Jewish Federation of North America General Assembly several times, facilitated multiple workshops and sessions at Tribefest, National Young Leadership Cabinet Retreat, Leadership Conference Dallas, among young leadership professionals nationally, and spearheaded efforts to create long term strategic plans for organizations seeking to engage Millennials and marginalized populations.
KB is the very grateful mother of three rambunctious Givah campers and the very proud wife of the most patient man in the world Lenny Goodkin.

SHOSHIE BRICKMAN - ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Shoshie Brickman moved to Albany in 2017 as a Freshman attending the University At Albany. After college, she started working at the Jewish Federation as their Special Projects Coordinator. In addition to her Jewish Federation role, Shoshie has been leading Temple Israel’s Junior Congregation for the past year. Growing up, Shoshie enjoyed many summers at both day camps and Ramah Palmer. She was a camp counselor and division head for the inclusion program at a day camp in NYC. From shira to sports, camp has always been her happy place. With sunscreen in hand, Shoshie is so excited to be at Machaneh Givah for summer 2023!
