-"I can't tell you enough how much my kids and I love Camp Givah. The kids and I are so excited that they are back this summer."
-"[My child] begged mom to sign her up for Givah. At the end of her first day, she turned to Dan and said: “It’s still magical.”"
-"[My child] wants to do another week of camp Givah! This is so exciting and we are so happy she really likes it there with you."
-"They’ve had the experience of a lifetime: kayaking, awesome counselors, phenomenal bus ride, lots of singing; everything camp should be."
-"I just wanted to thank you so much for this summer. My daughter had an amazing time and I am so happy this is her first camp experience. She is so sad it’s over."
-"I have been sending my daughter to Camp Givah for a few years now and it has always made us very happy but this year the staff brought me so much joy I felt I needed to let as many people know & write something! My son has Autism, and has been attending special needs camps for many years. This year the district wanted him to go to a school instead of a camp. My husband & I were not happy with this decision so we looked into the possibility of sending him to Givah. We were very scared over his safety, over his acceptance, over his happiness...I was VERY stressed. I am so happy to say I had no reason to be. The camp staff were amazing. He came home singing everyday (and is still singing Givah songs now, end of September!). He woke up excited to go daily. He loved the songs, the staff, the kids, the activities. He had a 1:1 aide there that treated him with respect and compassion but most of all love. He felt included in everything. I cannot express enough in words how amazed and impressed I am with what they did for my family. I am so grateful. Camp Givah is special & I am so happy I made the leap of faith to send my son there. Now both my kids can enjoy the camp for many more years to come. I love that they can be together which is a rarity in our world. Thank you thank you thank you. "
-1-2 camper: - "Thank you for letting me and my sister come to camp half of this summer. My favorite thing is tefilot. I liked swimming and boating. I liked to steer the boat. At free swim I liked to go to the deep end."
-"Well, the overnight/field trip did it; my child wants to attend Givah next week as well. Thank you for creating such great programming!"
-"I also wanted to share what happened at pick up today at the middle school. She was saying goodbye to everyone at the bus, and then got in the car. I could hear one of the teens (standing in front of the car) say "Is that [child's name]," as he looked in the car. He came around and my daughter jumped out and ran up to him. He picked her up and gave her a big hug. He was so sweet, talked about Star Wars (she had a stuffed Star Wars figure) and [my child] seemed so happy to have that goodbye from him. Thanks for leading such a great group of kids and teens- it made me so happy to see him caring for [my child] like that and making the extra effort to say goodbye."
-"My daughter had so much fun yesterday and can't wait to go back tomorrow. Thank you for creating such a special place that kids enjoy and parents can feel comfortable sending their kids."
-"Thank you so much for all your hard work throughout the year and summer to make summers so memorable and fun for our kids. My daughter is looking forward to next summer."
